At its first plenary meeting on 8 October 2018, the Parties to the Protocol elected the following officers to Committee A: Dr Ernest Zotoua (Côte d’Ivoire) as Chairperson and Dr Khoold Al- Mutawaa (Qatar) and Mr Marcos Dotta (Uruguay) as Vice-Chairpersons.

Committee A held its first meeting on 8 October 2018.
