Report of the First session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products

The First Meeting of the Parties to the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products (MOP1) was held at the headquarters of the World Health Organization (WHO) from 8 to 10 October 2018. Representatives of all 44 Parties to the Protocol took part. Also present were representatives of 56 Parties to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) that were not Party to the Protocol, four international intergovernmental organizations and nine nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), accredited as observers.
