The seventh session of the Conference of the Parties (COP7) to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) concluded in New Delhi today. Several significant decisions were adopted in the course of the six-day session.

COP7 was held in Delhi in November 2016 and adopted a series of significant decisions that will direct and shape progress in the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) for the next two years.

The 180 Parties to the Convention agreed action on various critical areas of the treaty, including development, human rights, gender and international cooperation.
