Fifth anniversary of the entry into force of the Protocol

Overview
The Convention Secretariat, which serves as the secretariat of both the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) and the Protocol to Eliminate Illicit Trade in Tobacco Products, has the honor to invite you to a webinar organized to mark the fifth anniversary of the entry into force of the Protocol and to present the global information-sharing focal point, required under Article 8 of the Protocol.
The global information-sharing focal point, a key component of the global tracking and tracing regime, will be accessible to all Parties to the Protocol for the purposes of further securing the supply chain and to assist in the investigation of illicit trade in tobacco products. Parties will be able to make enquiries and receive relevant information from other Parties, strengthening international cooperation.
During this webinar, a demonstration of the system will be made by the United Nations International Computing Center (UNICC).
Interpretation available: Arabic, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
