This document describes the tools that support the use of the TDR Global Competency Framework for Clinical Research. Competencies correspond to the ability to apply knowledge and skills to successfully perform an activity at work. This flexible framework lists all the competencies that should be demonstrated by the research team to carry out a successful clinical study. It includes a Competency Wheel of 50 competencies required for a research team, a competency dictionary, grading system, and role-specific frameworks.
