Examples of current practices in the implementation of Article 12 (Free zones and international transit) of the Protocol to EliminateIllicit Trade in Tobacco Products

Overview

In support of the Working Group, this document is intended to showcase experiences in controlling the supply chain of tobacco products in free zones, which could be beneficial in implementing Article 12 of the Protocol regarding the management of free zones, transit trade and comingling of tobacco products in containers. The content of this document is based on desk research and a literature review in addition to a survey sent to the Parties to the Protocol.
